June 2, 2010 - Dave Holland, Director of Parks for San Mateo County and an MPL Board member, has won $20,000 worth of PlayCor playground equipment at the CA Park and Rec Society meeting. Lucky for us, he would like to use the money to install the equipment in Quarry Park, but needs help from the Friends and parents to select the equipment. Since PlayCor is eager to install the equipment, he would like our selections within a week.
Selection Meeting: Monday evening June 7, 2010 at 7 PM in Quarry Park
Everyone is welcome to come, especially parents and children.

PlayCor has several options for kids 2-6, including a rock climber, net climber, and bouncer. All of our selections would need to meet County specifications.
Comments so far have narrowed the choices to these four: net climber, rock climber, horizontal climber, and 10-foot tall swings for big kids. At Monday night's meeting we will make the final selection and discuss location for installation.
